The Board of Directors has adopted a policy, effective October 4, generally requiring proof of vaccination for access to the Clubhouse. We adopted this policy for the protection of our staff and Members and their families and guests, based on input from our medical advisory committee, the House Committee and many Members.
All Members, Staff, guests, and children over the age of 11 will be required to show proof that they have been fully vaccinated, a negative Covid-19 test less than 72 hours old or a physician’s letter showing they cannot safely be vaccinated, in order to access the Clubhouse and all indoor facilities, with the exception of the restrooms at the pool, the restrooms above the bag room and on the golf course.
Acceptable proof of full vaccination will include a physical vaccination card, a photo of your vaccination card, or an equivalent government-provided digital record. A copy or photo of the negative test may also be provided. Later this week you will receive an email to which you can respond with the required information. This information will not be shared or disclosed outside the Club.
Outside events will not be affected by this restriction but we will restrict such indoor events to the ballroom and the nearest bathroom and encourage private vaccination requirements. Submit proof of vaccination to vaccinerecord@greenhillscc.com along with your name and membership number. Please send your guest's information to the same email address.
Order no. C19-12 from San Mateo County requires all individuals to wear face coverings when indoors, with limited exceptions. The order directs that "face coverings shall be worn, regardless of vaccination status, over the mouth and nose, in all indoor public settings, venues, gatherings, and workplaces, such as, but not limited to: offices, retail stores, restaurants and bars, theaters, family entertainment centers, conference centers and government offices". Individuals are not required to wear face coverings indoors in the following circumstances:
Following this new mandate, GHCC will require all members, guests, and employees to wear face masks when indoors with the exceptions as provided in the order.
